Cautions before and after vaccinations

Before Afte
  • Bring Vaccination Note (Baby Book or Maternal/Child Healthcare Book), baby's Resident Registration Number, and guardian's resident registration number with you.
  • The guardian should be the one who is aware of the health condition of the baby.
  • Please check the temperature of the baby at home and visit the Center when the baby is in normal condition.
  • Please give baby a bath before the day of vaccination. Bring him dressed in clean clothes.
  • If possible, be sure not to bring any other child who would not be inoculated.
  • If possible, vaccination should be done in the morning.
  • After inoculation, stay for 20-30 minutes in the Public Health Center to observe the condition of baby.
  • Continue to observe the baby with care for at least 3 hours at home.
  • Abstain from giving baby a bath on the day of vaccination.
  • Keep the inoculated area clean and don't let the baby scratch it.
  • Observe the baby carefully for three days after vaccination. At the occurrence of high fever or heat convulsion, immediately contact the doctor for treatment.
  • Be sure to put the baby to sleep on his/her back
